He knew not only his own family genealogy background, he also knew pretty much most of the Pound area families as well. He enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could.ĭonald Lee was a member of the 1942 Independent Basketball Championship Team which he was very proud to have been part of and a founding member of the Pound Historical Society. Donald Lee loved his Lord and his family and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His loving daughter Becky was by his side until the Lord took him home.ĭonald Lee was a born again Christian and became a member of Pyles Memorial Chapel in 1992. Bennett's survivors include her daughters, Brenda Blackmon of Faison, Linda Bennett and friend Bill Dowd of Atlantic Beach, Margaret Adams and husband Terry of Benson and Joyce Warwick and husband Mike of Clinton six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Bennett will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove.
